| 1. Print out these instructions! | Be careful and follow these directions correctly. This will insure that WE BOTH have a pleasant experience getting this done! I REALLY appreciate your business and want to MAKE SURE this is done in a professional and proper manner. |
| 2. Remove any unecessary items from your rifle! | Please DO NOT send me your
scope, new sight unit, your Wife's wedding ring, or ANYTHING ELSE that
could get LOST or BROKEN!
Please remove the Bolt, Sling Mounts, Sight Rail,
etc.. This will make the package LIGHTER and CHEAPER TO SHIP!

| 3. Enclose a Copy of your Driver's Liscense. | The dealer I am using requires a copy of YOUR Drivers' Liscense for proper ID purposes. He will NOT accept your gun without it and will ship it back to you (at YOUR expense) and NOT temporarily transfer it to me for the purpose of recoloring. This is non-negotiable. If this is a problem for you, then do NOT count on getting your SL8-1 recolored |
| 4. Enclose payment of$125.00 | This is also non-negotiable. :) Price includes return shipping, so this is your ONLY expense to me. Any rifle sent WITHOUT payment will be returned COD to the original shipper. If you prefer, You may pay via PAYPAL!! |
| 5. COMPLETE this form and enclose it with your rifle and payment! | This form will provide me (and the dealer I am using) with the info I need to PROPERLY HANDLE your rifle and get it BACK SAFELY TO YOU! It is in an INVOICE type format to ease the handling by my dealer. Simply print it on your printer, fill out completely and SEND ALONG with your gun! |
| 6. Ship it to me | Be sure to ship it in a SUITABLE BOX. Take NOTHING for granted. This is YOUR weapon. Nobody cares for it as much as you! Your rifle will be returned in the box it was originally shipped. If the box is unsuitable I will acquire one at your expense. |
| 7. Insure it! | Anything can happen in transit. Protect yourself. When I ship it back to you, it will be insured for $1300.00 |
| 8. Be patient! | This is a VERY TEDIOUS and TRICKY job. I exercise GREAT CARE and CAUTION to do this PROPERLY. This takes a while. I estimate total turnaround time to be from 4 weeks (ideally) to no longer than 8 weeks (if I get "flooded") from the time you sent it to me. |
| 9. A few things to note/remember | I will NOT be performing ANY GUNSMITHING
on these guns, so please do not ask.
This process is PERMANENT. IT CANNOT BE REVERSED!! The Buttstock Insert WILL NOT TAKE THE PROCESS!! It will remain GRAY! If you have ANY RESERVATIONS about completing this, then PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR RIFLE TO ME!! |
